LZ3NY / K8ZB / PA8ZB

I become a ham radio enthusiast in March 1978 in radioclub LZ1KWF in Sofia, Bulgaria. I was only nine years old at this time.

1990 – I become LZ3NY. I worked as a “ground to air” station radio operator at Sofia Airport. Then in 1992 I got a professional radio operator’s license – GROUND TO AIR RADIO OPERATOR.

2006 – In one summer evening I took the four FCC exams (Technician, Technician Plus, General and Extra) and got Extra Class in Toms River, NJ, USA – http://www.jsars.org. Become AB2VQ, which I changed to a vanity call K8ZB. In the same time, my wife LZ1MJP has got Technician class and callsign KC2PYJ.

2010 – Together with my family, we moved to the Netherlands where now I am PA8ZB.

I am a member ARRL and VERON.

last years I am a guest operator @ PI4CC www.pi4cc.nl in Hoek Van Holland, near Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
